The Photographer’s Ephemeris, or TPE, is the granddaddy of sun and moon tracking apps, and its desktop version was one of my favorites long before smartphone apps existed. It was one of the first to make use of the endlessly useful tools that build on what was then the newly launched Google Maps and Google Earth.
