However, I would not expect to find an article in “someone came second” since there’s no noun to require one (“second” is an adjective). WitrynaIdk why but it seems to be a thing that people think is toxic and disrespectful, the taking off the second place medal. It is common, and can be both in good and poor spirit. Quite clearly S1mple is giving it away in a positive spirit. The attitude and body language is what can make it poor sportsmanship.
